The Service

Responsa essentially finds the people that can service a specific request, by enabling voice (or text), free-format requests, to be matched only with relevant suppliers that have heard the request and have agreed that they can service it.


Responsa can be incorporated into any service that is designed to help consumers find things. This covers Classified Directory Services, Search Engines, Directory Assistance Services; Information Bureau’s but it can also be any organisation that wants to help solve problems for the consumer.


In its most popular form, a consumer simply tells the operator their need


“We’re a family of five, needing B&B for tonight, but it must have off street car parking, because we have a classic car”.


The agent then asks the consumer to hang up. The agent then records the request on the responsa system. Responsa knows where the consumer is, and how to contact them. It then automatically dials relevant local B&B’s in sequence. The B&B answers the phone and hears the request from responsa. If they can’t meet the request they simply hang up, and responsa moves on. If they want the business, they press “1” , the “Accept” key, and they are then played the customers telephone number, which they dial to talk direct to the customer and close the deal.
