A joint responsa venture is agreed

A joint venture to pilot the responsa service is agreed in principle Aug 03

After six months of discussions with a European Yellow Page Company, Responsa has verbally agreed to enter a joint venture with a European Yellow Page publisher to compliment their book by adding responsa numbers to the classifications listed in their books. Negotiations are on-going regarding the exact implementation and contracts but these are expected to be concluded before the end of the year with a pilot being launched first quarter 2005. Steve Isaac, Founder of Responsa, says “The learning’s and revenues gained from this joint venture will allow us to bring the service to many European markets in the coming years. This will help us realize our view of making Responsa a global, next generation search sub-brand;   which will compliment the likes of Google by providing a simple method for people to search for information and services that can only be gleaned from humans rather than computer databases”.

Responsa ceases trading.  Lack of funds and concequently the lack a management team has meant that the founder Steve Isaac has decided to stop invetsing in responsa and consequently the company will cease trading.
